So I was perusing Slate and found an article called "Does Google Hate America?". It's about right-wing reactions to what events Google chooses to commemorate with it's routing "doodles". Specifically, there is a great deal of backlash from the far-right (The National Review is especially critical) because of the frequent omission of religious and patriotic holidays.
So here's my question. Why does not-being-completely-enamored-with-America have to equate to hating-America? We just live here, yo, it's not like we love the place.
